One of The Reasons Behind Our Hatred of Monday’s (except when you have the day off)

Could it be a nagging suspicion that we’re settling for scraps?

My Wage

I bargained with Life for a penny,

And Life would pay no more,

However I begged at evening

When I counted my scanty store.

For Life is a just employer,

He gives you what you ask,

But once you have set the wages,

Why, you must bear the task.

I worked for a menial’s hire

Only to learn, dismayed,

That any wage I had asked of Life,

Life would have willingly paid.

Seriously, Your Individual Choices ARE Vital

I know we’re all doing our own thing in 2019. We’re developing our mindsets, making moves and cheering on with great admiration those that are going after their best life. The game slayers, OG’s and GOAT’s, whom I affectionately refer to as The Real Boo Boo’s. Like you, I’m here for all of them! Inspired and challenged to do more to create the life I envision for myself too.

But when I read articles like this one: it’s a stark reminder of our interconnectedness. That the choices we make today can (and hopefully do) inspire others during our lifetime, but also that the impact of our decisions reverberates well beyond it.

Definitely, do you. I will too. However, let’s remember we are part of a larger community, and to thrive, we need each other.

The Next Steps Along Your Journey

A short clip from Russell Brand on the importance of mentorship. It keeps you accountable and communicating with your inner-circle about your vision and the path you’re taking in your life. I appreciate relationships with folks who are where I want to be, next level people, who are authentic and willing to invest in others. They challenge me (in the best possible sense of the word) to keep going after my best life.
